If you look at the bottom of the main forums home page there is an option to switch to classic view if you do not wish to use the mobile view.
This will also store a cookie on your browser so you do not need to click on it each time you visit.

The Mobile view has had a few updates with quote and edit buttons added to posts and the switch to classic view available at the bottom of more pages for those on IPads and larger Tablets.

Since the addition of quoting and editing posts, I quite forget that I'm using my phone on speakerplans, not a PC.
Now I don't want to sound like I'm trying to climb into a certain someone's ****, buuuuut.... ....I've been browsing t'internet on my phone (htc desire) for a good few months now, and SP is head and shoulders above any other mobile site. Loads the quickest of any mobile site when I've got crummy signal, browses nice and smooth, and is good and stable(apart from the permission error when posting  )Well done all round I say, cheers!
