Here's a few pics of SW4, I didn't take too many speaker related pictures, it was line array throughout, not sure who it was but didn't sound brilliant all day until they turned it up at night then it sounded quite good. Skrillex had a pretty impressive lazer show as well

Last year it was Brit Row on main stage, not sure this year but Coloursound supply lights to all stages and a bit of video to stages 2, 3 and 4, with video on the main stage supplied by CT. HSL supply Skrillex lights and video, can't remember who supplied lasers, was too busy "drying out backline" whenever I saw them this year

I gotta say, I think your Aspect stacks look wicked. Very old-skool looking like a load of Court black box or something, but I get it sounded very 21st century. Would love to have heard that lot. Out of interest, how does it array? Do you get much combing betweenn the boxes, and are the angles between them quite critical? I've had a look at the data sheets and they seem very tight dispersion so with such a small down-tilt on the bottom 890H in your stacks, did you need to have a large gap between the boxes and the punters? I notice that the Turbo recommended crossover points are something like 40Hz - 101Hz for the 890L and 20Hz - 70Hz for the 218, meaning they are overlapping. Does that work okay or cause problems? |
