hey everyone i wish to build a little system with two mt122 with the p audio sn 12b neo and p audio sd 750n neo comp driver and p audio ph 2723 horn (total 700w). would i be able to build that so they are 4ohm and use the crown xti 2000 amp on 4ohm which will give me 800w.

i am also looking to build one x1 sub to suite, although im not sure which driver and amp to use. i thought i might use the xti 1000 amp to power this so at 8ohm i could go to 1000w.

any help in this would be very very helpful. i do recognise that this system will be quite heavy on the high end but that is fine my my purposes.

no i am a bit of a newby so any help would be excelent!

Assuming you are based in the UK,

You might have problems locating Paudio SN12B.

Are running MT122s fully active or with passive crossover ?

nah i based in australia, and im not sure about the crossovers, im getting someone to do all of that for me so i can learn how to do it:) and i have been persuaded to change the x1 to a g-sub which ill run with a xti 2000 and have also been convinced not to be a stinge and run the 122's through a xti 4000 to give me plenty of headroom. do you think it would be ok to set the crossover at about 900hz or 1khz? and if u have any advise on the drivers to use, if you dont agree with the p. audio ones i would highly appreciate that. thanks again for everyones help!

You will need an active crossover. To put it simply, passive crossovers aren't a good solution for high power systems.

Labhorns do sound great together with the USB's, but the MT-122 isn't what i expacted of it........
after i heared the Turbosound TA-88H on top of the Labs and USBs instead of MT-122.

mayby filling up the rear chamber of the MT-122 with foam will help, or putting in other drivers could help, but i'm not sure another driver will sound better the the P.Audio drivers........
S.O.K.
