Cleaned up the optics and opened up the sides. Seems more mirrors are broken than origionally thought, but shall see what replacements i can find. Also one of the mirror tilting channels has gone down - meaning two of the 8 mirrors wont move. In this video i moved them to blanking position. I checked the connections and they are all in place, so i guess theres been some component failure somewhere. Sorry gorey. On a good note, theres a 2nd event this month i can stick this out in - 1000capacity large hall, so could get you over or get some decent videos for you.

There's only about 30kg on there atm. The railing is a sturdy beast made of 20mm solid steel bolted onto 4 pillars below aswell as the balcony floor itself and set into the walls. It'd easily take the weight of the Martin centerpiece I reckon, but was planning to utilise the old theatrespot mounts for the centrepiece anyway. Edited by SamV - 26 July 2010 at 10:57pm |
