apologize but if you prefer void please go for that, i put it in the bin long time ago by my 9001. and i talk about quality. I'm with Sw for a reason ill not swap them with others... im really happy and was my choice after almost 2 year of test. audio is even what do you like... and yes im happy with the result. yes k20 could be an option, even for making one more stack in the feature... the post is about learning something more in how to use currents, W are a semplification or what im really try to understand... and all starts from the main supply and how to split it in a convenient way among our stack and amps most convenicne in my case.

If I recall correctly, the Powersoft K 20 offers a 440.6 volts Peak to Peak in regards to it's rails per channel. This is based on a video I viewed years ago. So the peak would be 220.3 in terms of volts per rail (channel). The estimate at 4 ohms per channel, would be around 3035.09 (continuous average/RMS) in terms of watts (110.1833 volts). Current source under a 240-volt line source, both channels driven, would equate to around 25.3 amperes.
The above is based
solely on Continuous Average not, Crest Factor or Burst Ratings. Margin of error would be around +/- 0.0001 volts. (3035.09 vs 3035.0899 watts)

excuse me now im interested in this x2 9001 configuration.... a decent result with a 9001 is capable with a single 32A phase. so for 2 9001 theorically you need 2 phase just for feeding bass section. what will about the remaing part of the stack? keep in mind that founding a decent 32A plug is a allready miracle in every club I play. the reason of using K series is that can handel 2ohm easy with a 16A plug, maybe not same result if you feed them with all the 32A phase, but still playing after years and years, speakers and amp. Not the same result about 9001 not properly feeded. This is well tested because on kick section ive 4ohm drivers, so 2ohm loading is quite common for some of my configuration. the dream about k20 just deseapear, i miss it from a market. So for now i need to get the best from what ive. Someone told me with this sw that ive to no go upper 110V, but to me this is rms power, if im not wrong. In my experience bc drivers can handle the doule easy in peak, but maybe im in the wrong path thanks |

You will not need more than a 32a supply to power 4 of those B&C dont worry.
