Multiway Crossover Phase Alignment

   Hello all, I have a question that plaques me for a few days now. After trying to get better crossover settings for our 4-way stack i noticed one inherent problem that i cant seem to solve. For a simple phase-matched crossover between a sub and a top we use the technique explained by merlijn van veen in his blog-post:

Everything works fine and dandy for this usecase. But trying to get the right crossovers for sub (BP), kick (FLH), Mid (direct radiating at those frequencies) and the HT seems impossible.
After perfectly aligning sub to kick, the phaseshift of the low-pass for the kick-mid crossover shifts the phase of the kick section in the sub-kick crossover-region again so the first alignment does not work anymore. The same happens with the lowpass of the mid-section when aligning it to the HT.

With enough space (in frequency) between the crossovers this should not be a problem. but with a more or less narrow kick-band of 70-200/250Hz, this presents a serious problem.

My only solutions would be a multi step trial and error method of correcting the phaseshifts with both crossovers, or doing the phase alignment after setting all the crossovers......but both methods sound wrong to me.
Is there a recommendet way to solve this problem?
