Sensitize Festival Soundsystem Pics

The Funktion tops splayed wrongly are mine (Illicit).  I lent them to Aztek so that they could bring something to the table in the link up.  Due to the way people dance to certain types of music (moshing), the stacks need to be very secure otherwise they will topple or at the least, the tops fall off.  The splay boards they decided to set up with are my stereo stack boards, they did this because they have no clue about comb filtering etc and just wanted a secure stack.  Plus they probably thought it looked good.

The problem with that link up was that there was no single person in charge of engineering the whole tent.  I arrived on Saturday and the Void rig was constantly turning there stuff up to try out do the others, also meaning that due to sound restrictions, the other rigs had to turn theirs down.  The problem is that each system wants their stuff to sound best and they don't think about working together to make the whole link up sound nice.  Really was a case of too many cooks spoiling the broth.  I made the best of a bad situation,  but seeing as I leant my kit for free as a favour, and everyone was having a good time, and my stuff was fully protected, I really wasn't overly worried.

I would like to say now though, that I do know exactly how to splay my Res4's, whether stereo stacks or mono stacks, and whenever I am running my Res4 and StasysX system, I have nothing but compliments.  Unfortunately there are too many uneducated people playing with pro audio these days.
