Also I just added the double 15 inch scoop design I just scanned in, text is a little hard to read but I got a pretty crappy scanner.

@Toxic: Maybe if you answered the question rather than just posting plans???
@Ray666: Treat the double scoop as if it were two singles stuck together just missing the panels inbetween. A scoop bin is a rear loaded horn the output of which consists of the sum of the direct radiating cone and the horn. The horn predominates at low frequencies (up to 80-100Hz I think, not a scoop expert) and the direct sound from the cone above that. The disadvantage with them is that there will always be points at which the horn and direct sound will cancel out. To design/simulate consider them as a horn without a rear chamber and ignore the direct sound. Have you looked at the super-scoops plans on this site and Rogs section in the FAQ about them? |

@ceharden: I thought it was an easier way for him to make scoops from plans instead of trying of him trying to calculate the scoops and make his own version of double 15 inch scoop. Fane 15XB works well in scoops and so does JBL 2226, and also Eminence Omega Pro 15. Theres some drivers that can be used in the plans above. Or the Eminence models the Eminence scoop suggests, I can find the equivalent to what those old models are. http://kytary.muzikant.cz/doplnky/eminence.htm ME 15/300 = kappa 15,ME 15/300LF = Kappa 15LF,

@Ceharden : Thanks for the tip ceharden. but what programs should i use
to simulate the box? all what i can say about the box is that its going
to be like kv2 with two scoops , but not with the kv2 closed front.
-think about it and imagine the picture.... mighty.... ain`t it
![]() @toxic :your plan is allready well-known for everybody and it didnīt helped me at all im planing something much more different , but thanks anyway for your time. |
