hi, i would like to put marshall handles and wheels in my cabinet.
i want to put two wheels on the removable panel and the other two down in the corner. the best place for the handles would be the rear chamber. is there enough space in the rear chamber for the handles from both sides ? does it affect the sound ? i hope the remaining space is enough to fit in my hands and the speaker. what do you think !? |

will be fine, guitar cabs dont tend to be tuned anyway, tuning only affects the lower octaves... only effect would be the cabs acoustic properties, and the handles will break up parrellel walls, thus should be less standing waves which is gud

I'm not sure he's talking about a guitar cab is he, (1850 section).
If you are talking about 1850, adding recesed handles to the rear chamber will change its volume, so will change its performance. by how much I couldn't say - suppose it depends on the size of the handle. If you look at the loonie bin you'll see the handles are positioned at the side of the chamber, but then the loonie is not identical to the 1850... |
