I know Alex pretty well (although haven't spoken to him in a while!) - nice guy!
 
There probally orginals, pretty sure Alex just had new 'front' panels made with his logo on.

Used 4 of his bass boxes last year for a work party, and mid way in the gig had to turn 2 off as we were getting compalints from the club staff. Driven off a VZ500 (all 4), they were pretty impressive
