Sensible man.

I wouldn't want to spend that much money on an amp cos someone on here I'd never met before told me to.

I agree. if its possible to have a go in some way or form before buying is always good.
I hired out a k10 to one sound and he decided not to return it. Just came and pay me for it instead

There is driving, and there is driving.

At recent amp test, all the "so called", 3/4K per channel @ 4 ohms amplifiers, would have thermalled well before getting the Tmax 1500s out of bed.

Tmax 1500s, hpf < 40hz, and lightweights often don't seem to work out.

Have you ever used a k series? Especially a k20 @ 9krms at 2r

Here are the Lev .44 scoops I designed, loaded with PD1852s, being used at Golden Palace couple of weeks ago,

Here's the Rack powering them,

Notice K10 on sub.Wink

In the same venue, at the same gig, there was also a K20, in the Motion54 rig, powering 4x PD1851 loaded scoops.

All on 32A.

So, yes, know what Powersoft K series can do, and sound like.

Please note, we were using K10's (you can see this if you look closely in image above).
One has Dsp installed, the doesn't. That's the difference between the two!!!

Was a pleasure to do it proper and let you guys use your ears and make up your own minds using the kit on your set! Don't think you guys have had any component upgrades for reliability mind, and you don't half give the amps a battering week in week out

So Jason, you were using one scoop per channel of the K10?

Stone Love and Bass Odyssey have K20 on 8 drivers now. I know dem don't play heavy roots tunes but still play heavy and them don't seem to have no problem.
I see a k20 play 6 box a side too.
