The oscilloscope in this case would be used to see when the waveform distorts, thus seeing if the amp can do rated power without a high percentage of nasties, a separate tone generator and true rms meter will not tell you that.

fair point. im fairly unsofisticated in my testing meathods. mainly my thinking was to see if the amp heats up too much really.
also was thinking testing a 4 channel amp at full pelt without a dummy load could really piss off some neighbours... and rearrange ya insides haha |

if you wanna know how this amp will response on 40hz you're welcome to test them on my 4 supers 18XB loaded. 4 or 8 ohm.

I blew my Tamp tsa4 1300...ran it in bridged mode without switching polarity..anyway the tech guy needs a circuit diagram to repair the amp as there are some micro resisters on the board without any values.I mailed thomann.it where I bought it but they say it's impossible to share the diagrams
 due to legal issues.please anyone has any idea about the amp or its circuit diagram please share with me.Thanks & Regards Sharik |

Even outside of warranty most of times the best & cheapest repair. They have all parts on stock. |
