RCF 4001-A

   Yesterday, someone dropped off a couple of old RCF 4001 cabs for me to service.

The first thing I noticed was a huge difference in the HF response between the 2 cabs. Really bad. On opening, I found 2 different drivers! One a Phonic thing, the other some no-name Chinese crap.    

On searching a bit, I haven't been able to find out too much about the cab, like what was the original HF driver. Anyone here know what those might be?

	Yeah. The mids have been changed as well. They now have a couple of Monacor drivers, so something drastic must have happened. As least put in 2 that sound the same!!

	Is that Monocor a Hi-fi driver? Lucky that 4PRO didn't have the phase ball in the mid born like the bigger models. They would have chopped that out to fit the Monocor's

	Yeah, some sort of hi-fi mid-bass driver. The little phase plug thing looks good tho'!
