We had some scoops built, but in two of them the braces were left out!.. stupid i know..
![]() Is it 'safe' to play them or would it be better (or worse) to cut em up, put the brackets & reseal?
the cabs are 100% mdf by the way. Edited by mashed - 06 November 2007 at 7:22am |

You don't need to cut it up
you can do it from the outside of the cab
the first one, take out the driver and put your wedge shaped piece up side ways then bring it down into correct position using plenty of glue, don't pull down on it to hard try to leave as much glue as possible.
the second , turn the scoop on its head then stick your head in and do the same again. Edited by mykey - 06 November 2007 at 8:47am |

You don't have to worry about the one behind the baffle to much because of the dog leg piece (tringle) that will strengthen most of it, the back one will be easier, specially if you have a skinny mate
