Ive mesured the distance from the point which the baffle meets the
curved section to the back wall too short, i mesured it from the edge
of the wood not from the back wall, so internally its 182mm instead of
200mm. Is this going to make a big difference to the sound?
Its done now all the glue is dry so its going to be like this, but i
was just wondering if this was big enough to make much difference to
the sound?

Probably will make a slight difference,but is it audible? probably not. If I understand correctly what you mean,youve made the horn slightly higher compression at the throat. |

Yep i think youve got me, ive made the throat a little smaller and the rear chamber a little bigger.
When ive built the next paid ill compair them and see if i can tell a ifference. Thanks Mike James |

since i ts only a wood thickness difference,its probably ~100cm^2 different throat area,which is about a 20% difference,wont change that much. The rear chamber will be slightly more compliant and not reduce excursion quite as much,but again not a problem probably
