Hi all, hoping for some advice on amps.
For the last 10 years I've been driving a pair (Occasionally 2 pairs) of Void Acoustics Micro X (1500W at 4Ω per box) with a Void Bias V3 (rebadged Powersoft K3). Mid /tops presently handled by a Bias VQ. Unfortunately the V3 has developed a network fault where the various ports still act as a switch but the amp reports "no network present". DSP still works, but unless anyone here knows if this is an easy fix I'm going to be sending off on RMA. I've not got 6 Mycro X subs and will be looking for a substitute / upgrade. So I guess I have three questions: Is an error I can fix myself? Are there any suitable amps coming up second hand in the UK? Does anyone have any recommendations of what to drive up to 6 of these boxes with? I don't have separate speaker management at the moment and any upgrade would be more of a vanity project than a money maker so cost is a factor. Thanking you |

I might have a look at what's available online as for schematics and maintenance/service manuals. Sounds like it might be a fairly easy thing to fix. It still working as a switch makes sense because it most likely has a dedicated switch for that.
Humour me, have you tried resetting the thing to factory defaults using the button that's behind the front panel? Edited by HumbleDeer - 06 June 2025 at 1:52pm |
