New stage wedges

Not anything especially exciting, but thought I'd stick it on anyway since I haven't posted here in quite a while.

Making a range of stage wedges for a friend, all coax, starting with a 12" and then expanding to have a matching range of 8, 10, 12 and 15".  

They're designed more than anything else for compact stages, so they're a touch taller than some others to then get the required cab volume with a fairly small footprint, take up a smaller amount of floor space. And the wedge angle is a little more upright than some other wedges, as on these small stages the performers tend to be standing pretty close to them, almost over the top, and often standard wedges are tilted a bit too much for this and are aimed more at their knees. 

(Might look at some sort of little leg design so that they can be tilted forward a touch to a more traditional angle if the performer is standing a bit further away.)

12" will be based on BMS 12c362

Hopefully we should be cutting wood next weekend to put a prototype together and start measuring and testing it. 

Aesthetics is a bit part. While this is mainly for smaller stages, it's also going to eventually be a commercial product that my mate will sell.  On the 8" version, the box will be so small that the handle will take up most of the sidewall just to be big enough to be usable and to get your hand in. To then keep them looking like a matching set, the 10", 12" and 15" also need to have handles that are proportionally the same size compared to the sidewalls. 

Thankfully the piece of wood that forms the top of the port can also act as the bottom of the handle back box, and the angles of the sides of the back box are cut internally in a way that helps to mean that it doesn't add quite as much volume to the cab as you might think.
