I use the RCF MBN401s in a much longer (upper bass/low mid) horn (about 1.1m) with no problems so they will cope fine in an xtro. I run mine up to 300Hz with no honking and in the right horn I'm sure they will go much higher. Nice drivers and super efficient.

i like the sound of the 18sound 15nd930
![]() the straight horn on the xtro allows it to play way higher than, for example, an HD15

use hornresp to plot drivers before you buy
it's just stupid to put drivers in a horn loaded configuration picked based on graphs or power specks. I plotted a few years ago a lot of drivers in the xtro and found that most of the will be very peaky in response. On of the drivers that had both High Sensitivity and was linear in that horn was P-audio WN-15R |

I was also looking for another bass-option as the punisher, i'd love to go a bit lower.
while comparing different designs i saw that the CUBO SUB has exactly the same depth, nice! Is it a good idea to have 2 CUBO SUB with 1 XTRO? If so, what 18inch drivers can keep up with the XTRO? Thanks |

I'm gonna be running my two xtros with four mini scoops so will let you know the results when we get them next week hopefully, I've got a feeling its gonna be a very compact yet high output rig |
