alright guys

I've got a bit of a query about speakon sockets for my speakers. I'm just about to start building some 1850's, fitting them with the new 1851 driver though as soon as i can get my hands on some.

I've been looking at which speakon sockets to get though and am a bit confused as to which ones to get because you have the 2, 4 or 8 pole ones, not sure which ones to get.

I basically want to have the best components for my cabs, im a bit of a perfectionist so only want the best sound i can possibly get but if someone could explain to me about the different types it would be much appreciated

Cheers

Godge

Unless you have a 4way active rig and want to stitch it all together with 8g4 in which case NL8...

Forget NL2, they are disco use use only as you can't get 4mm cable into a NL2fc and NL2MPs don't mate with NL4FX

Whatever you do put 2 NL4MP(r) or NL8MP as that way you can "ring-main" your speaker lead to 8mm on long longs (15m and above)
