Hey all not been on here for a bit but have found these amps called zenith cd5000 and cd8000 price seems reasonable not peanuts but not stupidly expensive either all the specs seem pretty good just wanted to know if any body has heard them and what their opinion of them is please?

I can't answer on those particular amps, but have used Zenith stuff before. Some of it has lasted and some of it hasn't. So in my mind they're 'low-middle range' equipment, as in they're not the cheapest but they're also not the best, or, you get what you pay for... if you see what I mean.

Yes I think I know what you mean Eddie basically they will do as they say in the spec but it is a gamble as to weather or not they last I do prob a couple of gigs a month pre/post covid and to the untrained ear would 99.9 percent of punters prob wouldn’t know if I was using a ffa60004 or not so would prob be ok for my requirements then?

They look like copies of qsc pl380 and pl340 to me. They do another which looks like a lab gruppen copy. Zenith is a prolights concepts brand so has UK backup if that’s important to you.

If you are looking at new zenith, you can get second hand ffa for similar prices.
In bass no one can hear you scream!
