And there's been me assuming the golden age of the mobile disco died 15+ years ago..... this business up for sale (on ebay admittedly Confused) claims turn over last year between £20k-£30k (is that £25k then?) which, if true just made me wonder........ are there really that many people in the Devon area looking to hire a mobile to keep 5 rigs busy? Really?

Hmmmm.

Well i guess everyone wants a good wedding dj/disco every weekend, but wether you would get a booking every weekend in today's climate is another matter.

As for the price...errr..what can i say...there is i guess around £3000 worth of gear at todays used prices..the transit is probually worth around 700 quid...and he wants £35k? Think i will pass on that one Greg....even if it does include the website!
Be seeing you.

That is hilarious.

Also I like the mispelling of business in the auction title. Clearly someone worth £20k of your investment.

Also I did not know that a Behringer Eurorack was a particuarly professional mixer, but then with kareoke involved perhaps it is.

It's not even just his spelling business, there's loads of spelling and grammatical errors all over it. If he was expecting to get two hundred quid then fine, but thirty five grand! The guy's having a giraffe.
He can't even be bothered to put down the correct model numbers. The bit about the 4/5 shows a night is written in such a way you might think you'd be buying all those shows, you don't, he obviously takes a cut a gets another show to go out.
For that kind of money I'd want to see a diary with bookings at least three nights a week for the next couple of years.

We looked at buying out one of our competitors last year, after some looking into, we found out that his 40k a year would turn into 4k as none of the hotels would stay with the business but with the djs. Worth the investigation as we ended up getting some business from it.
To much power? NEVER.
