hi , i'm building 4 186Horn , but i don't know which is the best configuration .
- i can load the 4 cabs with RCF L18P300 and amplify them with a QSC RMX 5050 ( but the 5050 is a little bit weak to amplify four L18P300 )
- or i can use 4 PD186 with a QSC RMX 4050HD ( but the Precision Device 186 is less powerfull than the RCF )
Can you help me to choose ?

yes i think i'll choose the PD186 , furthermore it's a cheaper solution for me . but i'm shure that i won't choose a T.Amp amplifyer ...

it's not only a powerfull question , i want a good quality amp . I'm using the best components i could to build my system , so i think it would be a nonsense to choose a cheap amp to amplify my horns . the most important in my project it's that i want the better quality possible ( for my budget of course )

Both the Proline 2700/3000 are very strong amps, but I personally wouldn't use them for 4 ohm stereo on sub, just 4 ohm bridge. Do a forum search and you will see questions were raised regarding their protection by amp repairers. 4050HD is a great amp, but from my experience, doesn't have the power to "properly" drive 2x PD186s per channel a 4 ohms. RMX 5050 is great amp, not as powerful at 4 ohms as MA5000VZ/CA18, but fine for powering 2x PD186/L18P300 at 4 ohms stereo. MA5000VZ will beat it on grunt, but not on sound quality. actually i think i will choose to power four PD186 with a RMX 5050 ( or two EV Q1212 at 4 X 8ohms ) .. these solutions seem to be a good choice .
