there are many good drivers available for scoops. your choice should be made considering your budget and whats available in your part of the world. so how much £££ do you have to spend and where are you? |

Can I ask dubmax, what is so special about this design why you want to go through all the trouble of tampering & modifyting the measurements, when there's already plans available for a Super Scooper ?
Have you ever heard the 18'' scoopers before ?
Suppose you build what you plan to do & it doesn't sound good, it would be a complete waste of time. (Then again it may work out)

The plan he's modified IS the Fane design.
Fane never designed an 18" Scoop, only a 15"... The easiest 18" Scoop to build...hmmm...Eminence may have an 18" Scoop in their archives, its probably identical to the plan you have though... Don't leave out the bracing in your Scoop's though - as then after a couple of heavy basslines have passed through it, the cabinet will start to come loose, and rattle and fart. - SmokeyJoe. |
