er not too sure as i was waiting for pd to sort out their driver situation and ended up spending the dosh else where....
er have had a listen to them loaded with kappa 15 [yes the cheapo kappa] and it was quite impressive...... very kicky,,,, [suited the tekno we were listening to quite well] but lacked the real low end, which i am guessing is to do with the fact that they have little x-max and are very cheap....
going to drop some p-audio c-15 600el in them realy soon....... and then the games will begin lol....... [and ive got a few more of them cut up lol]

so soon i will give them a fair crack of the old whip and tell al of the results......
you thinking of building some??? unfortunately our [my g\f] pcdied recently and is at a shop being repaired . and this pc contains my hard drive with all of my build pics. but as soon as it returns ill get some more pics sorted with more details of the build...

Thanks for the info.Im very glad it did sounded good even with the cheap drivers. Is that the one with the stamped metal frame?
Im planning to build 8 of the single ones, ill cut the original into 2.Ill load 4 of them with JBL 2226H & the other 4 with E140.I decided to cut the box in half to get ease in transporting them.Do you think it would cause a difference in sound performance if i cut in half?

as long as you used the same number of drivers [ie 2 halves for every double] youd get exactly the same sound and performance..... well any differences are unnoticable. im doing all subsequent boxes as singles as the doubles are about 4cm too wide to fit through a door.....
we used about 2 and a half sheets of 18mm each double.... i think it is as opposed to the pressed steel frame [kappa pro] it was the 450w rms version...... with some decent sub i think itd have done the job for me but im going for the p-audio as i think its a decent half way house between kappa cheapness and pd unobtainability

how low wil your subs go???? to realy be worth putting subs under the selleniums youd have to be able to touch 35hz, as a large stack of the selleniums should hit 40hz...... i think you shal not be disapointed......
what are you planing on using them for???

They're intended to be used on live band situations.I used to work on live bands now w/o the seleniiums, just the keele's.It lacks the punck & kick of the kick drum.

well i do believe the seleniums will give you punch on the kick.......
four per side [singles] 60<180hz ish with some kinda sub 30<60hz per side with a reasonale mid top set up would certainly be amusing for live work....... would be loud,
