18sound have SPEAKERTEK listed as there Aus distributor - +61.7.3376.4122, harry@atrprofessional.com.au
B&C seem to have the same contact details as a distributor. Although the xtro is a great cab and might fit your purpose perfectly driver availability might be your downfall. A better idea might be to see what good components you have available locally at a good price and then find a suitable cab for them. |

thanks for the help, also do you think i would get away with loading it with the 15mb 700 rather than the 15 nd 930?
and i looked into that, i can get all the drivers for a pair of mt 122's for 1300 dollars but people said im going to need way more subbage than what i can afford to keep up. and these speakers even may have to stand alone at small parties untill i get some more cash :S

if you can get the 15nd930, get them they can blast your head off when you turn them up it's more of a horn driver than the 15mb700 |

cannononline.com.au do most p-audio gear, essentialaudio.com.au do eminence and you can always use partsexpress etc for most drivers if you're happy paying freight :)
Might be suitable options there? If they need to do standalone for small parties, maybe just go dual driver reflex?(2 12's or 15's) and a suitable mid/hf combo? You could still build the xtro mid/high section but go dual reflex for bottom. Should still get up to high 120db's at 1m but go down to 50hz happily :) Edited by LunchieTey - 29 June 2010 at 9:55am |
