Hi guys

A bar where I work is thinking of installing a large lcd panel for the World Cup and improving the stage for bands. I just wonder is there a go to brand with this stuff, and brands to avoid.

I’m in Spain, hour south of Benidorm, I’m sure there’s plenty of installers up here but I said I would ask on here for advice.

Cheers

Import it from China Direct its a faf but very cost effective.

Make sure it has Novastar processing, ideally with the new VX processors as you can scale in the unit it self.

Kinglight and nationstar make good quality affordable IM’s.

Now the most important part make sure you build a relationship with a good chassis / cabinet builder. Dont worry too much about all the angle bollocks. Push your aim to the attention to of detail of IM placing on the boards, cabinet construction etc.

Id try and stay around 3.9mm or above if you want a cheap wall and it to be hassle free.

A simple rule of thumb is 1m per mm for resolution. IE a 3.9mm LED panel will be HD at 3.9 meters.

Always buy 10 - 20% spare IM’s with a new wall. LED lamps are made in batches and its a real pain to mix them out with new when they fail as each batch manufactured will have different colour temps.

Thanks so much for your help Jace the base

I will pass this info on.

I imagine there’s some sort of foot switch to auto focus everything and turn the tena pants adverts off.

Cheers
