I don't think you see what I am saying dear friend. I am saying Drawing-wise, a "plan" is the view of anything from above. That's why I am confused that you say the diagram shows three plans.
Like I said, the top diagram is the front elevation, the one below is the plan, and to the top right is the side elevation.
You get my drift now?

Speaker plans are almost always from at least two angles.  The point of reference does not change the fact that its a plan. You need multiple dimensions to make a proper plan for a 3d object.

... your never gonna build anything if your worried about the "correct" words for the different aspects off said PLAN.

A PLAN for the box is the 2D (of a 3D object) drawing in front of you, THE PLAN OF THE BOX within the plans for the box is the top right corner... if you cant understand what your doing on the grounds of what words mean what it's gonna take you a very long time to build these!

...all plans (well most of them anyway) show the box from 3 aspects as not all boxes are just cubes. learn to see in your head how this simple method of 3D layed out in 2D works and you'll be well on your way to your 1st completed bass bin (cab/box)

...failing that wack it in to google sketchup and see what it looks like in 3D and then have a bash at building it.

If it sounds like a gorilla is trying to escape, turn it down.

The drawing is pretty simple and understandable as far as it goes but the bracing is a mess.
