Hi Mike,...Those were my best estimates...but I think they are pretty close... It would be very difficult to get exact numbers without drafting it in AutoCAD and getting the exact deminsions... However,...last night I drafted the Punisher so I could get the exact parameters for modeling... I plan to post them because it seems like there is always someone asking if another driver will work... I also found the exact parameters for the Labsub to use for comparison...

Cheers,

Here are the sims of the 186 horn in Hornresp. Modelled as hyperbolic, but the issue with the front chamber remains the same for exp or conical sections.

Schiller,

Excellent work!... Your SPL plot appears to be very similar to the one I did (illustrated on page 2)... At the very least,...it would be safe to say that this design is very acoustically stable and has plenty of room for construction variables...

Yeah cheers schiller, that'll come in handy when i eventually download hornresponse and give it a whirl with 1850 figures, its just the rear chamber thats different right?? I think its 68Ltrs??

Hi, yes the rear chamber is the only difference, but is smaller, somewhere between 20-30 Lit.
I want to build it with a 15er driver, in order to go higher with the responce - 300Hz is my target. Modelling with conical sections (as constructed) makes no big difference. I don't think that is an exp. desogn, it is too long.
Normally with the 1850 the throat should be smaller, simulate it 400cm^2 and see.

Greetings
Konstantinos

YOU WILL NOT get 300hz out of the 1850 no matter what you do to it, its a folded horn and quite a severly folded [for upper response] horn if your aimint for a heigher response.
id put a kick box above it, straight 15" horn above the 1850 would play nicely<300hz or heigher
just my halfe crowns worth.....
insert silly sentence here

Really!? Im sure I read a really old thread where people were saying its 68/69 litres, but I did find that hard to believe as they were also saying the driver takes up 7 litres, it looks to take up way more then a tenth of the space in the rear chamber.....??
