hi, can a matrix str2000 handle 4 ohm bridge without popping? and what sort of power would that produce? any help would be appreciated as im new to this whole thing and i really dont want to buy something expensive and blow it up!

no it cant. if you went for a str3000 then you would have 1k per channel at 8ohms so (probably) no need to bridge.
(EDIT) - if money is tight you could go for the old faithful qsc mx3000a or jbl mpx1200, you can get either for around £300 Edited by mikey bear - 03 April 2009 at 7:39pm |
