Hello Jaap,

What does your simulation tool give you for the efficiency? In my opinion this cab is not the most efficient...

Best regards,

Walt

There COULD be a problem with the cone. The stress could be too much.

http://homepages.paradise.net.nz/sbk1/jbl/34hzb.PNG">

From what ive heard only SOME drivers fail due to horn loading if its kept to a normal value eg 2:1 or less. Also not just the compression ratio sets this-its the overall horn impedence.

Yours is S folding,~2.5m length Get it built and tell us how it sounds!!

If you use too many youl lose your LF loading and get flatter effective midbass.

My folding trades efficiency for length-so that LF <40hz is loaded.

Cheers!

I prefer high length for the LF,so that more boxes can be used to up the efficiency.
