servodrive spl-td1

This is a pretty neat full range design, kinda TQWP horn sort of thing. I wonder if the bass driver mounting sensitivity can be raised to make it a candidate for a kick horn?

cheers,
Rob

I dont imagine the midrange drivers getting any hornloading, their more of a direct radiator on a waveguide to tailer the top end (guessing)

Some people have DIYd these, some with success.

BTW staiper how low do your microscoops go?

Actually the horn does load the midrange driver very well due to their geometry in firing into the horn, if with a slightly lesser loading that a dedicated flare. The distortion/output these things are capable of would be well and truly scarry (yes, the loading will obviously become less effective towards th etop of the horn's bandwidth due to the chamber before the two holes)

The two 12s don't gain much from the horn (this isn't claimed either) but make good use of the space occupied by the horn. I have been itching for a Unity project, but would like to have John Sheerin's "approval" on a driver before I do so.
