We have acquired these fibreglass horns. Looks like they take 10" drivers.
Does anyone know what they are, any specs?
Cheers

We had some of those. Not certain who made them (Mega?), but ours had 9" ATC drivers with phase plugs. Nice mid horns.

I sold these "Mega" horns on ebay many years ago.

If you look carefully the horn flare is slightly different.

I seem to remember having this conversation a few years ago, and "Robbo" identified them as Eastmill.

If they aren't the Mega ones, they could be Eastmill, as they made a very similar one. Early 1980's.
Be seeing you.

Thanks, they do look similar to the mega or east mill. Will have to measure the baffle to confirm it's 9". We have 2 10" b&c and 2 rcf laying about we could bodge in. I'm guessing without phase plugs they would struggle to go high enough to meet a 1" comp.

These have cropped up on here many times over the years---They are definitely not Mega as we were the biggest Mega dealers in the UK back in the 1970s so I know Mega gear inside and out.
They are the Eastmill mid horns which are less common than the Mega ones and both the Mega and Eastmill horns were designed to fit the 9" ATC mid drivers----The Eastmill drivers were actually fitted with the Phase bungs built into the drivers chassis whereas the Mega horns had the phase bung built into the horn flare like Turbosound horns.

Hi---The Mega horns had a reccomended crossover point of 250hz(we used 300hz on our hire systems just to be a little safer) but not sure on the Eastmills---I just realised after posting above that I forgot to mention that Mega did do a 10" version of their horn which was designed to fit a 10" Volt driver as David Lythe from Volt was actually working in the Mega factory back then---These are very rare as there were only a handfull made right at the end of Megas production before they closed down.
