I currently have a pair of Stapiers 15" microscoopers made by insomnia loaded with PDN.15SB40 drivers(600watts 8ohms) and they get run off either a Crest LT2000 or Yamaha P7000s.

I find them to be quite good be I feel they could be a little better, could I improve them by changing drivers or amps?

Iv put PD156 or PD1550 in these cabs, im tempetd to use the 18-sound 15MB700 (103db)

or the B&C

Again the Fane Xb is a very good driver foe this cab.

The Neo driver your using wont sond as good as the ones i have listed. On the negative side you will need bigger amp power !
Positive side, they will sound awsome !

4 makes a big difference. I have 2 scoops per side, loaded with B&C 15PS100 with QSC PLX3602 for power and all is well.

Whats the frequency response like on these microscoops?

Have to choose between two of these and two vintage jbl style 15" scoops. They will be used in a bedroom and for houseparties and stuff until more are made :)

Do these drop as low as a JBL 4530? Also hows the transient response / can they deliver a nice solid kick?

Heres the competition....

Cheers.
