hello guys, does anyone reckon that this RCF driver is a suitable replacement for the 1850 in the mogale scoop?

anyone got experience using the rcf?

The 1850 is not the best sounding driver in the Superscooper18.

The L18P300 is  very good driver, will sound very warm, but will most likely blow in scooper if fed >  650 watts @35-70hz, due to low BL and Xmax.

Read scoop forum back posts to see which drivers people have used with success.

my mate had two of the older RCF L18P300 in scoops and he ripped the voice coil off the cone twice with that combination, literally pulled apart, the voice coils didn't blow thoLOL

The V18-1000 is the guy in the scooper, Bline 800 is also very tasty.

I have both of these and want some 1850's, if you want to do some business..
