or I'm in dublin with 2 V8-1000 loaded X1s.. other than gigs I don't really have any testing ground though...

bit of an off chance but that guy wouldn't be called Sol would he, if so i think his bro told me he's sold them...

no but i'm fairly sure Sol built them and sold them to this guy. i don't know Sol (don't think I do anyway... maybe I do..) but people always mention him to me...

steve, to answer your pm (your inbox is full...), no, i don't know anyone selling any, but try asking rezsbc (also on this forum)... he's got way more gear than me and knows more of the reggae heads than I would.

Simplest and most likely to work first time.  You could end up with a lot of prototypes trying to get a scoop right.

Now I'm not sure about how the cone would hold up..

Spot on, exactly what I would say. The V18-1200 is very picky about what it works in, but would definetly work in large reflex with correct tuning.

My scoop plan is a prototype. Drivers that I know will definetly will work in it as is are,

1. V18-1000
2. Bline 800
3. PD1850
3. FANE 18XB

but can only say the V18-1200 "should" work in it, due to enlarged chamber and throat.

Steve, if you sold your V18-1200s on, the V18-1000/Bline 800/PD186 are proven to work in numerous designs.

If you keep them, you will have to experiment with prototypes to get the cabs right.
