I purchased 2 ASS MX121 trapeziod rear loaded horns in the summer.  2nd hand.

they play beautifully..  I took 2 into Oceano Night club in Birmingham on New Years Eve and had the bouncers complaining that they couldn't hear themselves outside...

I was playing 4 ASS RX18 Scoops on the one side of the room and 2 of the 21s on the other.  I was running a Chevin A6000 amp 4 scoops one side 2 21s the other.

they seem to need less power than the RX18s to run and sound a little less aggressive.

I know how good the box plays, I am just wondering if they have a scoop style chamber in them.   Do not want to take the speakers out cause they are seriously well bolted but am
curious.

Does anyone know...

Tony if ya about or anyone

The cabs you have are a scoop bin format condensed into the size of the MX1200/600. It was just an idea I tried when I was putting the MX system together. Because it worked, it meant that I could have the whole 4 way system in three cabs that were all the same shape and size. The MX121 is made out of 24mm ply and has a 50mm baffle. These are the subs that are in the Astoria and other places.
