One it ain't a sub its a kick bin aka mid bass bin.
 
I've only heard HD15's in multiples of 8 or more, but certainlly give a good thump but lacked the sub bass though.

i use them in two stacks of four but have run two six stacks and with twelve bins in mono. like he says. its not a sub but if you don't need real low then it is a wicked bass bin. realy versatile, compact (although one by its self is a bit of a waste of time) best with at least four in a stack. what music you playing?
 i also find they need to be lifted a bit to get the best out of them. they do have a bit of throw on them so they are a bit wasted sitting on the ground.
