moved to plan requests.
for what it's worth, you might try some fiddling with win isd with some of the fancy bms 18" drivers that you can put in stupidly small enclosures. clever packing will allow a few ways of loading drivers and if you're clever, the nature of the beast lends itself to push-pull pairings to minimise distortion even as part of a higher order bandpass loading. however, such a cabinet is going to cost a lot in drivers. if tiny truckpack is your game and you have all the amplification in the world, then cramming drivers into boxes makes sense; amps are relatively cheap nowadays so that approach is valid in the touring market. i'm not sure there are any cheap drivers that will perform well in that kind of enclosure, only some fairly concerted modelling will tell you if you can do better than spending your pennies on two really good drivers instead and going for 2 x 18" reflex/bp. james. |

I'd recommend changing your tactic and looking at push pull slot loaded instead of a quad 18" box

If its any help to you, I have four of the matching Ohm HD-MH cabinets on sale on Ebay at the moment---They are the stack top cabinet for the Ohm HD-BB bass cabinet and are exactly the same dimensions as the 4x18"

I'm sorry to ohm but was not impressed in the slightest when i heard the hd system at their unit, in their showroom. was expecting a bit more from the 6 stacks sitting 5 metres in front of me than a rasp. might have been the live set of hotel california that the sales reps played thru it. if they want to sell a pa don't play things like that.
only thing i was impressed with in the whole show room was the smack stack subs. and only once i managed to get them to play one of my tracks through it

Why not? That Eagles live CD is a very nice recording and has been used for many hifi demos over the years... If you know it it can show up flaws in a system easily.
