Bit too much of a narrow beam angle for me.
The IP rated 6 LED version looks better value and more versatile, albeit 3x 1.9W LEDs fewer. But still with that 15 degree beam angle. I think I'd still be inclined to fit a 365nm 50W+ COB to a flood fitting. |

Thanks Norty good to hear from you again . IMHO out here it might be like feeding strawberrys to the pigs anything that is purple is UV but then again maybe it's time for change

I looked at doing this
Has anyone a to b compared the different wavelengths? I ask as down to 380nm the chips are pretty cost efficient, but 370 is twice the price of 380 and 360 is three times the cost. |

We have Chauvet Colordash Par Hex in rental and they seem to have a pretty good UV output without being a single purpose fixture.

But some of them are more a purple colour wash than a proper uv. I just wondered what wavelength that stopped being the case.

I see my question has been rather well covered in a previous post on uv cannons 400w vs 100w led with very useful input from hemisphere. Thanks.
