For a 1” I really recommend the Faital Pro HF10ak. Crystal clear and crisp.

I'm still loving the set of 18sound NSD1095N I'm using. I had polymer diaphragm drivers before (B&C DE16 and BMS 4544) and they're a noticeable improvement at the top end.
Don't test the champignon sound

The 3" coil JBL 2435 Be sounds fabulous, and may be driven with a 200W amp on an aluminum horn (or with a plate between driver on a plastic horn).

They list for about $1400 each, but I have bought trade-show samples on ebay for around $400 each.

On the 2384 horn, I have to say I have heard no better, period.
