Want to run 4 BMS 4538 60w

What amplifiers are good to use for Compression drivers?

I have a Yamaha P5000s and a Crest CPX 1500

But am tempted to change up to Lab Gruppen or Chevin?

Any thoughts suggestions would be appreciated :-)

And would Changing my Ultradrive to a Minidrive have any significant affect on quality?

Hi.

I tend to use my Old QSC EX 4000 which offers 800 watts per channel @ 8 ohms. That is roughly 16 times over the rated power of the compression driver (50 watts) however, the sound quality supersedes any other amplifier offering less power.

I would conduct a listen comparison to conclude which amplifier sounds best to you under the given circumstances.

Best Regards,

Yes try them out, both of those amps are overkill in this case but those Yamahas do sound very good on mids and highs and I expect the Crest would do fine too.
