does anyone have a free software they recommend that can analyze an audio track and visually display the dB level of all frequencies at any given time?

i currently use Spek, but it doesnt do the best job displaying this info as the resolution of the screen is lacking and it only provides the dB of each frequency through colors. it also shows the entire track on the screen, vs something that displays levels of pre-set bands real-time as the sound plays may provide the resolution im looking for.

cheers, happy holidays

You could try Audacity. You'd need to select the region you're interested in and analyse it.

I have audacity but it has the same problem as spek, really poor resolution and the db level for each frequency (or frequency band) is depicted by color only
