And if so, what do you think of the driver? (I know its the 2.0" exit model).

I really like the driver. I was supriced how nice the top end is from a 4 inch vc. We will definitely use it in future products.

The top end is indeed pretty good for a 4" vc, with a quick listen I almost would say better then my DE800's. But before I say that for sure I must do some more tests and implementation.

Thanks. looks like it covers quite a wide bandpass, it goes quite high AND low.
I wonder if the small room could have lifted response under 800 hz, but seems a little high for room gained bass…

has anyone experience with both 18sound xr1464 and xt1464 horns?
Xr1464 seems to be less used than the xt1464, which costs nothing and gets praised a lot (I use it and like it).

I own, use and like both. The XT1464 is superb and has very good low extension but is a bit too big for some cabs.  The XR does a very good job in my more compact multi-purpose boxes.

I'm curious if the XR does the job down to 700 Hz, according to 18sound it's usable down to 800 Hz. If the combo works fine (ofcourse also off-axis) i'm going to keep the XR.

I'm also going to try and do some measurements with both ports closed, so just a closed box. I can get it to work down to 120 Hz ish with some EQ I'm satisfied
