I've never heard them and shipping costs to my home address in the UK would most likely cost hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of pounds maybe more than £1,000 because according to the data sheet they weigh 122kg each.

I do a 2x12 FLH (RB212) Flat 109db @ 1W1M 90-370HZ and a 2" tractrix horn for bms coaxial for hf. Very pokey and versatile pair. Horn box packs away into the 212 for van space saving.
rb212 Horn (in old style box) Packs away: New box with tilt panel Rb212 (old handle and access panel style) Horn Horizontal dispersion Coloured carbon fibre effect horns optional Boxed with bms 4590 loads well, down to 370hz to meet rb212's Also aerotrack tilt arrangement available for horns in rb212 opposed to using tilt board. Rb212 Unfiltered measurement 1w1m Edited by SouthwestCNC - 21 March 2018 at 1:11am |

Thanks but i'd prefer it to be a two box mix/high instead of 4 box.

No problem. Id say youd probably need 3 2x12 reflex or straight flare mid tops over 8x18". Two would likely struggle in the low mids.

I'd like something on the lines of the EAW KF850 but obviously getting something like that made would be expensive as hell, I do remember out of all the raves i've been to since 1993 that as far as I can remember the EAW KF850 cabs were the loudest i'd ever heard. I used to go to raves every weekend and since I started in 1993 i've been to more than 200. Those KF850 cabs were so loud that I remember getting about 20 feet from the sound system and the little muscles inside my ears turning I could feel it it was absolutely deafening and to be honest not in the least ear piercing.

Posibility this setup is going out to Ireland this year, so can be heard for yourself. But yes it kicks, increased thd being the concern most have with running bms that low but only occurs when horns not loading the comp that low. this one loads it well down to meet rb212 and large scale makes it a sensitive horn so you dont need to put much power through it. |
