Yeah, the 3mm Aluminium is just a skin. It will be backed with 15mm Birch ply that is being screwed from the front with countersunk stainless steel architectural screws and bonded with Sikaflex. The whole thing will then be recessed into the sides. Pretty sure that'll stop the bastard rattling about... 😄
