Another trick is a dab of valve cutting paste on the end of screw driver for better grip....

Would it be possible perhaps to add a horizontal attachment to the screwdriver handle to make it more like a stand pipe key?


Not sure what it would be made from but if you could do it I suspect it would help. If a screwdriver has a large sturdy handle, drill a wide hole through it, stick a bar through the hole, maybe add rubber grips to that bar.

That combined with some of the methods above would be sure to shift it. Might be a useful tool to have around in general also.

I would use a 1/4 drive mag bit, with a T bar Smile
