Is it possible to wire up 8 pcs RCF MR55 (they ar 4 Ohm) on a 2x1000w pa amplifier.

Hi would I wire this?

Anyone willing to explain series/paralell wiring or make a simple drawing?

Will the amp handle a 4 ohm load? If so wire each channel like this.

That would "work" but the groups of 2 would play louder than the groups of 3.

This!!!... X2. One for each channel giving you 8 total speakers with equal power.

more to the point, what are you planning to do with this many of them? they won't array together as 'one' system, or distributed will have horrific delays and also sound gash.

if one rig, get something more suited to the job, if distributed, rethink it. One cable loss/dodgy connection and you lose half the coverage.

get an amp more suited then.... something with more channels to allow volume control in different zones. Used Cloud CX-A8 (or A4 or A6) often hit the used market at very reasonable rates... give you more control & will be way more reliable than what you're proposing!!
