Hi to all! Now I'm the one who needs your help. I own 2 pieces of oldschool RCF 4PRO-8001-S passive 18" subwoofer. I never found how exactly how to setup active processing (freq, shelvinf, boost, etc) for those subwoofers to obtain maximum performance from them... I have modified it by connecting directly speaker connectors to speakon connectors (+ speaker to 1+ pole speakon and - speaker to 1- pole speakon. That means I quitted using his internal passive crossover, and connected directly speaker to neutrik 4 pole connector. This is the model: That's what I found about freq respnse, etc: Can anyone knows about good processing equalisations for this subwoofer(s)? Thank you, Claudiu.

BW24 highpss at 40hz LR24 crossover at 80-90hz to the mids or whatever is above these. Some EQ for response contouring could be used but it shouldn't need much, whatever you do don't boost 60-70hz range as this is where driver excursion is at a max anyway. Limit amp power at 1000w give or take depending on program material.

Thank you for answer. My official settings was: BW48 highpass @38Hz BW18 crossover @100Hz One small shelving around 48Hz. If anyone knows something more processing between 42-90Hz range (shelving, boost, etc), please post. Thank you!
