Hi All,

I'd like to achieve 4 way stereo using two active crossovers, if it is possible.  I have run four way mono using my DBX 234 but I much prefer the sound in stereo.

I'd like to keep my set up as analogue as possible, hence why I'd prefer not to use a speaker management unit like DBX Driverack or Berry Ultradrive.

I have also considered using a passive crossover between my mids and tops, but I would like to be able to have some control over the crossover frequency here rather than having it at a fixed point.

So my question is - In 3 way stereo mode on my DBX 234 can i send the high channel output to another crossover as input and then split the signal again from there?  See below diagram.

Crossover points would be Low - Low Mid 100Hz, Low Mid to Mid High around 800hz-1000hz, Mid High to High around 2.5kz to 3.5kz.

Thanks all..

Two 234's, one for left one for right. Keep it simple!

Thanks James - that hadn't even crossed my mind.  Certainly a lot simpler than what i proposed.

you won't be able to tell whether the low and low mid are stereo or not. run them mono on two channels and then mid and high in stereo on the other four channels.
