Need 4 new pots for JBL mpx 1200 TZB10k9534.

Not used to buying such things, these are indented but not bothered.

Or: as I've tried cleaning from outside shall I dismantle?

Thank You

Dismantling those can be a bit finicky. What have you used for cleaning? 3-in-1 oil is the best, but you obviously need to get the stuff inside.

B10K is a standard 10K linear pot, these look like an ‘Alps-Style’ 16mm pot however there are numerous different shaft types, you will need to drop the knob off to check the shaft type and size, the most common one being the 'split splined' shaft, but again these come in different lengths.

There is nothing to stop you getting a pot with a shaft that’s to long and cutting it to length, just take precautions so the swarf cannot enter the pots internals.

You will find it quite difficult to find one with the forward facing pins, just buy a standard PCB mount straight pined pot and then bend them forwards to suit.

ESR do indented pots for under £2.00 each.
